Volt is immediately hiring Project Managers in Central, WA.
*This role would be onsite at times but majority of the work can be done remotely*
As a Project Manager you will:
Help our client with Power Delivery projects - specifically a large, 3 year project running a transmission line between two substations in Central WA. The ideal person will work with multiple teams, responsible for managing this project from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. A+ communicator and facilitator is key to the success of this position.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Power Delivery, transmission or fiber experience preferred
Manages or leads moderately to high complex projects with a high corporate or functional priority
Applies standard analysis and project management methodology to a range of assignments
Ability to develop creative solutions
Requires risk management and communication and documentation
May participate in negotiations with guidance
Assignments require knowledge of concepts, principles or practices in a specific discipline, field or area of expertise
Analyzes metrics to improve project performance
Financial analysis and forecasting of life cycle costs
Manages typical projects valued or budgeted at $5M-$10M
Ability to manage a team and personal dynamics to drive projects forward
Ability to coordinate with multiple groups, crews, foreman and managers for project resources
Ability to lead project meetings to facilitate project progression
Excellent communication and organization skills
Demonstrates adaptability, accountability, and is goal-oriented
Ability to manage project schedules and budgets using project management tools
+ 3 years of related experience managing power delivery, transmission or fiber related projects (Initiation through Closing)
PMP certification required
CMAA certification preferred
Pay Rate: $45.00- $70.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
