Job Title: Project Manager

At Hood Container Corporation (HCC), we are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Project Manager to join our team. This position is vital in providing customer, sales and operations support, managing projects through ideation, design, pricing, production, assembly, fulfillment, delivery, and invoicing, while overseeing structure and artwork details and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be software proficient including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PDF writer, Online Google docs, BOX, SharePoint and more, with an understanding of the JD Edwards ERP system and various Amtech software.

How you will contribute:

As a Project Manager at Hood Container Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our projects and overall operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Performing work as required to produce corrugated displays and components; projects will likely involve working with multiple manufacturing, assembly and fulfillment plants, and vendors

Monitoring project status throughout project life while identifying, resolving and expediting resolutions for any project issue; insuring accurate and proper documentation (Purchase Order, Customer Contract, FSC/SFI, BOL, CAPE, Invoice, Specialty Tags, Labels, Stickers, etc.) exists for every order.

Managing all facets of project detail from design through invoicing; insuring approved and accurate structural files, substrates, artwork, ink colors, etc. are in place, monitor compliance to timeline commitments and adherence to customer and company requirements.

Effectively schedule, facilitate, and lead Bill of Material Review and Pre-Flight Meetings; insuring all necessary project-related files, images and documentation is accurate and available on internal shared drives.

Performing all order entry related work: including the receipt, response, coordination, processing and entry of all customer orders is accurately completed; insure all transactional documentation is stored to meet requirements in various systems (JDE, Amtech, EDI, NewBiz, BOX, CPQ, email, fax, customer sites and systems, etc.)

Providing exceptional support to customers, sales, and operations teams to support and enhance overall satisfaction and excellence.

Involvement in the collection of delinquent receivable accounts

Proactive communications and resolution management regarding corrugated, purchased, supplied and customer-owned goods.

What it Takes:

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to provide exceptional customer service.

Proficient in software including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PDF writer, and more. Experience with online google docs, SharePoint and BOX is a plus.

Amtech and JD Edwards experience is preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Understand corrugated display. Packaging, Assembly and Fulfillment industry.

4-year degree or equivalent work experience in the corrugated industry. (Corrugated display manufacturing and assembly experience preferred).
