Our client, a solid and growing E&P operating company is expanding their footprint in deepwater Gulf of Mexico has retained our firm to find their next Subsurface Manager with emphasis on leading a nimble team focused on surveilling, modeling, reporting and developing deepwater GoM fields.

Position will lead a small multi-displinary team to progress subsurface studies, well/reservoir performance history and forecasts, drive data gathering and analyses for annual reserve reporting, present results and make recommendations to Sr. management and partners for planned deepwater developments.
Keys for success include:
BS in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering degrees with appropriate experience
15+ years total exp. in reservoir engineering, with 10+ years in GoM Deepwater
Exp. managing small technical teams
Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers
Familiar with PVTSim, Petrel, ECLIPSE, TNav, Petroleum Experts and having programming skills/macro scripting in databases is a plus
Enjoy and have experiencein in entrepreneurial and fast paced environments
Experience in managing professionals in a matrix organization highly desired
U.S. Citzen or Permanent Resident status is required
