Project Manager - Houston, TX

Manages highly complex business issues arising from the implementation of new processes or functions.

Maintains and controls the project budget, schedule and resources.

Work closely with IT procurement to build project funding and maintain project financial forecast

Responsible for all facets of our IT projects, including project planning, resource allocation, steering committee leadership and team organizational structure management.

May manage multiple projects and assist in program / portfolio planning and tracking

Works with stakeholders to define program roadmaps, budgets and schedules

Develop communications plans and executes the required organizational change management to support the project

Work with stakeholders to develop project business cases, and scope new project ideas

Manages project scope, risk and issue resolution.

Responsible for quality of project deliverables.

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 10+ years of experience in IT Industry with an emphasis in IT project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.

Three to five years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical discipline and 8 years of experience.

Agile, Scrum Master Certifications preferred. PMP a plus.
