Role Summary
The role of Behavioral Health Therapist is a key part of the Narus Care Team based in Nashville, Tennessee. As a part of the multidisciplinary care team, you are responsible for providing telephonic/behavior health counseling to families. This video/telephonic therapy program blends live video sessions with between-session digital lessons and content. As a Narus Health Therapist, you would:
Job Description/Core Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage a case load of clients providing evidence-based and strengths-based assessment and therapeutic interventions meeting the goals set for each client.
Maintain regular contact with clients using video calls, audio calls, and messaging, per Narus Health’s program design and policies.
Respond to clients and team members promptly to maintain the best care standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the best clinical outcomes for members.
Facilitate the transition and discharge for each client that completes care to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Respond to crisis situations by following established protocols and developing safety plans with clients.
Assess and evaluate the client’s appropriateness for services, level of care, and their ability to maintain safety for themselves and assist them when needed to transition to a higher or lower level of care.
Maintain all documentation on client interaction according to Narus Health policy and best clinical practice.
Communicate with behavioral team members, team lead, and program director to address any client concerns or limitations and report those concerns immediately.
Attend and communicate all concerns with weekly team meetings and 1:1 meeting with team lead and supervisors.
Provide after-hours and on-call coverage, as needed. Required Qualifications
Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, etc.) maintained and in good standing; multiple state licenses preferred.
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or relevant field
Experience in telemedicine or virtual setting
Knowledge in clinical applications of the DSM-V
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, and other tech applications
Experience with crisis interventions and de-escalation Benefits
