Work Schedule: 16-20 hours/week between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Duration: Casual Temporary (Renewable)

Location: Montgomery College Central Services, Rockville, MD (Some telecommuting possible)

Overview:

Join our dynamic Development team in a temporary role crucial to achieving our annual fundraising goal of $6 million or more. As a Philanthropy Associate, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our pool of support by assisting in the creation and submission of fundraising requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Minimum three years of grant and proposal writing experience. Responsibilities:

As a Philanthropy Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Grant and Proposal Writing:

Research, draft, write, and edit grant proposals and funding requests to individual donors.

Prepare follow-up reports to donors.

Donor Communications:

Review annual appeals, articles for Foundation Focus, and other donor communications.

Sample Proposal Library:

Contribute to building a library of sample proposals to support all fundraisers during the current campaign.

Strategic Thinking:

Be a strategic and creative thinker, linking the Foundation's mission to funders' interests.

Location:

Work at Montgomery College's Central Services building in Rockville, MD, with the possibility of telecommuting.

Benefits:
