What you’ll be doing:

Oversees the Corporate Accounting, Reporting, and Accounts Payable functions.

Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

Manages and ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.

Manages the preparation of the annual financial statements, related footnote disclosures, and other supporting documentation required, in compliance with US GAAP.

Manages the preparation and review of quarterly Audit Committee and Lender deliverables; these include: financial statements, various flux analyses, executive level PowerPoint presentations, as well as other required deliverables.

Advises staff regarding the proper US GAAP accounting of non-routine reporting transactions.

Performs variance analyses as compared to budget, forecasts, and prior periods as required

Works in partnership with the outside audit firm to manage all audit-related matters.

Proactively reviews internal work and business processes with the mindset of identifying and implementing improvements to gain efficiencies within the department.

Is proficient in conducting in-depth accounting research and producing comprehensive whitepapers summarizing management accounting positions and citing relevant areas of US GAAP.

Contributes to accounting and integration efforts for M&A activities.

Establishes and maintains accounting policies and procedures.

Contribute to special projects as assigned by management.

Who/What we are looking for:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Healthcare finance/accounting experience preferred

CPA designation is required.

10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles is required.

Profound expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
