PATH’s Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access brings together our expertise across every stage of the long and complex process of vaccine research, development, and delivery to make lifesaving vaccines widely available to children and communities across the world. CVIA’s current portfolio encompasses more than two dozen vaccines either in development or already in use to protect against 15 different diseases. Our focus is on vaccines to address the leading diseases that claim children’s lives worldwide: pneumonia, diarrheal disease, and malaria; as well as other global health priorities, such as polio and meningitis. We work in partnership with national health ministries, pharmaceutical manufacturers, donors, international financing and regulatory organizations, and many others. PATH has led numerous global partnerships, including the award-winning Meningitis Vaccine Project and the Malaria Vaccine Initiative, which helped develop the first malaria vaccine candidate recommended for pilot implementation.

PATH is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Associate for Vaccine, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh through an Employer of Record.

Responsibilities:

Communicate and share the requirements and documents of COVID-19 vaccines with responsible authorities before the arrival of vaccine at the airport to avoid delay in clearing vaccine cold chain equipment gap based on different vaccine availability case scenario.

Collect & compile the vaccine requirements from sub-national level & share with Deputy Program Manager- Procurement & Supply for distribution.

Coordinate with District EPI Super & Vaccine Store Officer for any supply related issues.

Ensure availability of plans to safeguard the security of staff (for transportation, storage) as well as security at primary storage facilities.

Timely submission of vaccine with EPI & relevant officials.

Daily record keeping of EPI vaccine store under direct supervision of EPI store manager at EPI HQ.

Timely coordination & communication with Vaccine & logistics Support Officer, partners & MOH

Regular coordination & communication with sub national level districts & upazila storekeeper regarding Vaccine supply.

Prepare & submit monthly report to EPI/MOH & PATH management.

Required Experience

Masters/Post Graduate degree with minimum of 5 years of experience in this field

Experience working independently in for-profit and/or international non-profit organizations at least for 3 years.

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Well-organized and attention to detail with good follow-through skills.

Excellent written/verbal communication skills in the English language and flexible to adapt to changing environments.

Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively independently and in a team.

Ability to work on group as well as individual assignments.

Ability to manage ambiguity and work in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong Self-Motivation.

Work Location – Dhaka, Bangladesh

Duration – 14 months

Must have legal authorization to work in Bangladesh.
