Responsibilities for Superintendent:

Propose, write and revise policies the construction projects assigned to

Review financial statements and seek ways to lower costs and spend allowances in the best manner to achieve year end goals

Analyze and determine how many employees are required to complete the project within a timely manner

Prepare monthly progress reports regarding the status of the project

Oversee spending by setting and maintaining the annual budget according to the project managing

Ensure safe and well-maintained work environment for the employees

Interview and hire employees as needed to satisfy the progress of the project

Qualifications for Superintendent:

Hands-on leadership skills in an construction setting

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Professional experience working on a construction site

Experience working in a leadership role

Ability to effectively communicate with foreman and other superintendents

Experience in organizing well maintained project sites

Accountability and integrity are essential as the decisions made in the role effect countless others
