Paraprofessional - Full Time in Westminster, VT

Job Description

Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

We arelooking for a full-time Paraprofessional to join the team with a school district in Westminster, VT. The successful candidate willprovide support for the students in the classroom or one on one settings.

Responsibilities:

Work with students, providing educational and behavioral support

Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement educational plans and interventions

Adapt and modify materials and instruction to meet individual student needs

Assist with daily living skills, including toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed

Document student progress and municate with parents and guardians as necessary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred)

Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an educational setting

Ability to municate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Ability to adapt and modify instruction to meet individual student needs

Strong organizational and documentation skills
