LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a local property management organization to hire an Assistant Property Manager for their Portland, OR property. We are seeking candidates with at least one year of experience in the property management space who have experience with tax credits and/or affordable housing.
Position Details:
Industry: Property Management
Duration: Contract to hire
Pay: $22-$25 per hour
Hours: M-F, 40 hours, very flexible schedule
Location: Onsite in SW Portland, OR (free parking lot)

Responsibilities:
Create leasing contracts for new tenants
Conduct apartment walk throughs and inspections
Assist with tenant relations such as collecting rent, processing payments, and scheduling maintenance
Maintain compliance for all tenant contracts, tenant relations matters and equal housing opportunities requirements
Assist the Community Manager in day to day property operations
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience working with tax credit or similar properties
Knowledge of equal housing laws, ideally in Oregon
Experience using a property management system such as AppFolio, Yardi or Tenant Tech
Strong customer service and communication skills
Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
