Maintenance Technician NIGHT SHIFT

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team!

Responsibilities include equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure facility operations run smoothly. This position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule from 7p-7a and is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!

Position Activities:

Diagnose and repair equipment failures using standard procedures and technical documentation.

Maintain pneumatic tools, motors, conveyors, and production machines.

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting.

Inspect circuits, wiring, and electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.

Utilize PLCs to diagnose faults and implement corrective measures.

Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules and safety protocols.

Collaborate with engineers and support team members to optimize maintenance processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Electrical and PLC certifications or equivalent experience required.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and associate degree in Manufacturing or Electrical disciplines preferred.
