Overview

As a key member of Zendesk's APAC Accounting Team, the successful candidate will assume a pivotal role in the heart of our financial operations. By collaborating intimately with distinguished local accounting firms, you will serve as a bridge ensuring that all transactions and processes adhere stringently to established guidelines and meticulous accounting standards. Your expertise will fortify our commitment to excellence across our diverse regional markets, safeguarding the integrity of our financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with local accounting firms on month end close process

Preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations for period end closing

Preparation of fluctuation analyses and perform financial statement analytics, providing relevant explanations for fluctuations

Prepare bi-weekly payments

Prepare monthly cash funding reporting

Assist in the preparation of VAT filing and other tax filings

Handle ad hoc projects and any other duties assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3 to 4 years experience in accounting/accounting shared service function

Dedicated and reliable teammate with excellent communication and organization skills

A hands-on, detailed and self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills

Ability to strive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; strong multi-tasking skills
