Job Description

Marous Brothers Construction Site Division, located in Willoughby, Ohio is accepting applications for a Pipework Foreman.

The foreman will be responsible for ensuring required materials are delivered on time, layout needs have been adequately communicated to the surveyor, and work area is set up to safely perform task.

Works with the superintendent and general foreman to build utility crews and develop a plan to perform site utilities in unison with earthwork crews or other contractors that may be present on site.

Communicates with vendors and subcontractors as it relates to site utilities, such as aggregate suppliers or municipal suppliers.

Maintains a working knowledge of plans and specifications, contractual requirements, and schedule.

Provides status updates and/or communicates any issues with the superintendent and project manager.

Ensures the safety of all employees and personnel on site, by maintaining compliance with all applicable OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.

Responsible for ALL as-builts and documentation

Other duties as assigned.

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Five plus years previous heavy civil construction experience installing a variety of site utilities, including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterline, and electric duct banks.

Familiar with a variety of materials and installation methods in order to install per plans and specifications.

Ability to read and interpret utility plans, specifications, and local codes.

Ability to effectively communicate, computer skills (written and orally).

Strong organizational skills.

Experience setting and checking line and grade for utility installation using stakes and cut sheets, pipe laser, GPS rover knowledge, etc.

Strong time management and leadership skills
