Maintenance Technician– Hyde Park Heights NY

The Kamson Corporation, a top-tier Property Management Company, seeks an Maintenance Technician for our apartment community in Hyde Park Heights, NY. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance operations of the community, including service requests, preventative maintenance, compliance with safety standards, and customer service. The Maintenance Technician works along The Maintenance Supervisor and the Property Manager to maintain the property.

Job Description

Must have experience as Maintenance Technician in a residential apartment setting.

Perform routine property inspections of the grounds, buildings, and common areas to ensure all aspects of the property meets company standards.

Identifies ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality.

Completes service requests and general maintenance tasks in a timely manner.

Respond to residents’ problems/complaints and follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.

Manage unit turns to minimize vacancy time while maximizing the value of the property.

Implement the appropriate risk mitigation procedures when necessary, including disaster response. Maintain inspection reports and service documents when appropriate.

Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies while adhering to safety standards and OSHA Guidelines.

Must participate in an emergency On-Call rotation, as needed.

Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory.
