Job Description
The Branch Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hires and trains qualified candidates for entry-level roles
• Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the branch
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustment as appropriate
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for daily operations of the branch, and continued growth
• Conducts regular staff meetings and communicates with branch staff to ensure understanding of goals and objectives; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives
• Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service, and setting an example for other staff
• Develop positive client relationships by regular customer visits
• Collaborate with recruiters and branch team to develop, and lead the recruiting efforts including postings
• Partner with client’s contacts to understand the needs and expectation of the client to ensure excellent service delivery
• Manage situations that can be difficult with clients and provide the client with a resolution, information, or additional options
• Coach and counsel colleagues on behavioral and performance issues, document and take corrective actions as necessary
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Collaborates with Area Manager and/or Regional Vice President to set reasonable KPI, sales, and branch goals
• Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs
• Participates in community activities to promote the organization and to build goodwill
• Collaborates with branch team regarding advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns
• Working knowledge of Risk Management and Worker Compensation
• Attending sales appointment • Collecting and reporting trends to customers and senior management team
• Attending labor meetings at customer sites
• Scheduling and attending plant tours
• Negotiating clients bill rates
• Creating wage analysis and presenting to customers
• Lead generating
• Skill marketing candidates to customers and prospects
• Manage situations that can be difficult with field employees such as workers compensation cases, sexual harassment claims, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
