The fundamental purpose of the role is to provide a consistent technical solution for Mobileum customer & internal department, with focus on solution architecture (60% or higher) with support for project deployment (40%) and the relationship management on a technical plane.

For each opportunity that he/she handles directly, the candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of all technical aspects of an account under his/her direct control through the entire solution architecture phase of an opportunity with complete technical ownership.

Work with the technical account manager to support the sales cycle for the opportunity from a technical perspective.

Adapt or create customer-facing materials for various stages of the sales process â presentations, technical information notes, deployment/solution architectures, etc.

Own the proposal preparation process for each specific opportunity that he/she works on, including being the primary owner and creator of every proposal or response to RFx (e.g., RFI/RFP/RFQ, etc.) or tender.

Conduct demos of products to customers and prospects.

Liaise with the Bid Compliance team to ensure complete compliance with required process and metrics.

Ensure a smooth handoff to the posts-sales stage for a successful deal via a SOW statement and internal discussions, as well as through participation with customer stakeholders and Mobileum PSO/MSO teams.

Provide support to the Project Manager and Support Manager with delivery of solution and constant customer satisfaction.

Focus domains - solution delivery in the Mobile Value-added Services space for mobile operators across the region, focusing on roaming and interconnect services.

Will be responsible for several accounts/opportunities in parallel.

Must be willing to travel extensively (at least 40%)

Skills and Background

⢠Technical skills â require a combination of knowledge and skills across a combination of the following areas â

Mandatory

⢠In-Depth hands-on knowledge of Signaling and switching protocols such as ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, IN, CAMEL; SIGTRAN, ISDN; IMS, SIP, LTE including DIAMETER etc.

⢠Cellular network architecture and elements â core network (HLR, VLR, MSC/GMSC, SMSC, SGSN, AuC, EIR), radio network (BSC, BTS, GSM Um/Abis interfaces, etc.); RF planning and optimization, etc.

⢠BSS/OSS elements â billing, provisioning, mediation, TAP/RAP processes

⢠IP networking, including TCP/IP, Frame relay, Voice over IP, ATM, GPRS, 3G/UMTS â elements, protocols, procedures

Optional Skills (good to have)

⢠Experience in architecture for Big Data and Counter fraud solution will be a huge plus

⢠Databases experience with oracle, Couchbase, EDB will be added advantage

⢠Shell/Perl Scripting language exposure and ability to write will be added advantage

⢠Background in defining âsolution architectureâ taking into account customer environment and the compatibility with offered product(s) is a MUST

⢠Self-starter, and ability to work under minimum supervision while meeting objectives and timelines

⢠Effective multi-tasker, with a methodical and organized approach to work â with strong time-management and real-time prioritization of tasks

⢠Must have worked (or be willing to work) with prospects, customers and partners in a proactive, high-energy and self-motivated culture that is driven by a very strong will to win

⢠Strong written and verbal communication skills

⢠Must possess good presentation skills, and ability to âwhiteboardâ concepts during discussions

⢠Must be able communicate

⢠Ability to collaborate and work with a globally distributed organization, as part of virtual, multi-functional teams

Educational Qualification:

Bachelors or equivalent degree/diploma in EE, CS, Telecom or other related fields of study; higher degree like MS, MBA or equivalent will be advantageous (but not essential).

Work Experience:

At least 8-12 years of relevant industry experience, primarily in customer-facing roles, of which at least 6 years should have been in technical solution in the fields of wireless telecommunication as mentioned above; should have experience in working with geographically distributed virtual teams.
