Trainee Technician

Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assessing patient response to treatment. Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate hemodialysis machines according to prescribed procedures and protocols. Treatment Monitoring: Monitor patients during dialysis treatment to ensure safe and effective therapy, including observing for any adverse reactions or complications. Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and procedures performed. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. Safety Protocols: Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff. Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families about dialysis treatment, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal health outcomes. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and other members of the dialysis care team, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
