Airworthiness Engineer - Structures

The Airworthiness team at ePlane is looking for someone with experience in Mechanical systems specifically across airframe design, transmission systems, and landing gear to help work with regulatory bodies in developing appropriate for using ePlane's electric propulsion and batteries for use in their VTOLs.

Requirements

Must-Have:

Understanding of Composites systems and Mechanical Systems

Experience in developing safety critical analysis for aerodynamics and mechanical systems

Understanding of type certificate process

Understanding of Design Assurance Levels

Previous experience working with DGCA

Good to Have

Prior experience in working on Type certificate or TSO of aerospace components

Previously worked on development of composite based drones or aircraft

Safety analysis of mechanical systems

Understanding of CS/FAR-23 or CS/FAR-27 regulations

Personality Traits

Written and verbal communication in English

Capacity to work in independently

Multi-tasking
