A Michigan based company with a facility in the Plymouth area is currently seeking a Manufacturing Plant Manager for their growing business. The Manufacturing Plant Managers income will be based on the candidate's overall skills, experience and education.

Qualified Manufacturing Plant Managers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

" A career of progressive experience in manufacturing operations.

" Experience in a high-precision, low-volume manufacturing environment.

" Any experience in a leadership or supervisory role with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

" Able to plan, organize and can take a hands-on approach to directing day-to-day operations.

" Practical knowledge of Continuous Improvement practices and Lean Concepts.

" Supervise employee performance in all functions including training & evaluation.

" Develop and lead high-quality teams with ability to promote the family-culture established throughout the company.

" Must effectively communicate in a written and verbal manner, and provide timely reports.

" Able to work with clients and suppliers with the ability to manage relationships.

" Any education or degree affiliated with manufacturing is beneficial but not required.

" Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
