Responsibilities
Collaboration:Work closely with other construction professionals, including plumbers, welders, and engineers, to coordinate projects effectively.
Tools and Equipment:Operate and maintain various sheet metal tools and equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that duct installations meet quality standards and project specifications.
Continuous Learning:Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and techniques in sheet metal through training and professional development.
Cleanliness and Organization:Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
Customer Interaction: Interact with clients and provide information on sheet metal/ductingprojects, addressing their concerns and questions.
Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on existing ducting systems, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of sheet metal technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and meet project objectives.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and specifications for sheet metal work.
Ductwork Installation: Install and maintain HVAC ductwork systems, including ducts, vents, and fittings.
Quality Control: Inspect completed sheet metal work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring that all team members use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any changes or modifications made during the project.
Training and Development: Train and mentor junior sheet metal technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field.

Job requirements
Possess OSHA 10 certification, demonstrating knowledge of safety regulations
Exhibit a basic understanding of mechanical concepts and principles
Familiarity with geometric shapes and the ability to work with them in a fabrication context
Entry-level opportunity with 0-1 year of experience in mechanical/construction role

Reliability is key
Possession of a clean driver's license and reliable transportation
Comfort and proficiency in using various hand tools commonly employed in sheet metal work
Ability to work comfortably and safely on ladders and staging when necessary
Possess general safety knowledge and awareness in a workplace setting
Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic
Hold a valid and clean driver's license to commute to work locations
Be eligible and authorized to work in the United States
