Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Peak Living, Inc. is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for the company and paying all invoices to vendors following appropriate procedures.

Responsibilities:

Accomplish 3 part matching in HIGH VOLUME accounts payable department. The position will process all invoices for two company structure, assuring timely payment to all vendors.

Perform routine month end accruals for A/P, assuring proper accounting periods are recognized.

Check and compare quantities/pricing for hundreds of inventory items.

Perform data entry in Sage MAS computer system. Enter new vendor templates, reconcile monthly A/P balances, etc.

Troubleshoot receivers and enter received quantities for a variety of products.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in high volume Accounts Payable department.

Fundamental knowledge of receiving, inventory, standard costing.

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Strong organizational skills. Ability to work in high volume department.
