Job Description
The Master Scheduler will provide daily and long-term production planning based on ship dates, production efficiency, manpower, materials and machine availability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily coordination/partnership with production, procurement and manufacturing staff to evaluate any changes needed in the production schedule and shifting capacity
Evaluate manufacturing or procurement challenges and constraints and develop solutions to overcome
Ensure that all raw and packaging materials are in house and available for production throughout the master schedule and work with Buyers for resolution
Provide daily evaluation of inventory status by project number
Calculate and establish production staff needs with operations management
Develop and control production schedules based on order demand and sales forecasts to match production levels with customer requirements and targeted inventory levels
Requirements
Working knowledge of an ERP System
Three to five years of production/project scheduling experience required
The ability to balance scheduling to both revenue and capacity
Effectively schedule 4-6 months out
Strong communication skills
