The Role

Metropolis is seeking a Director of Salesforce Operations to lead the strategic direction and manage all aspects of Salesforce CRM system to drive sales effectiveness, deployment activities, and support business growth. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Sales Operations, you will collaborate closely with sales and deployment teams to identify data requirements and optimize Salesforce functionality to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

The Director of Salesforce plays a critical role in creation and reporting of all sales and deployment data within Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and reliability. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency and business insight to provide strategic guidance and recommendations for leveraging Salesforce capabilities to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of Salesforce initiatives to support sales, marketing, and customer service functions.

Own data input processes, establishing and upholding protocols to uphold data accuracy and completeness.

Partner with sales leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions and enhancements.

Manage the Salesforce implementation roadmap, prioritizing projects and initiatives based on business impact and ROI (Return on Investment).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, IT (Information Technology), and finance, to drive alignment and integration of Salesforce with other business systems and processes.

Design and implement Salesforce configurations, customizations, and enhancements to meet evolving business needs and requirements.

Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Drive user adoption and training initiatives to ensure that sales teams and other users maximize the value of Salesforce.

Monitor Salesforce performance and scalability, identifying opportunities for optimization and performance improvement.

Lead change management efforts related to Salesforce initiatives, communicating updates and changes to stakeholders, and driving adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.

Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Developer, or Salesforce Architect are required.

Proven experience 6-8 years Salesforce administration, development, and implementation, with a track record of successful Salesforce project delivery.

Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM capabilities, features, and best practices, with expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing Salesforce initiatives from inception to delivery.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA) is preferred.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and adapt to shifting priorities and requirements.

The anticipated base pay for this position is $140,000.00 to 175,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis's total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
