A private family in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced professional house manager / personal assistant to oversee all housekeeping operations and personnel across their properties- a Rochester home and Canandaigua Lake estate. This role will report into the Director of Residence and will work closely with a facilities manager and the head of the household carrying out directives across all family NY residences. This position is for a hands-on team-player with a "no job too small" attitude. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from about 9am to 5pm, but a 24/7 mindset is expected and some flexibility for weekend and holidays will be needed, especially during the Summer. The family spends about 40% their year at these two residences.

Job duties will include a mix of personal assistant and house manager tasks, such as hiring, training and managing staff, overseeing household projects and renovations, making appointments and managing schedules, tracking inventory, sorting mail and shipping packages, supervising outside vendors, and executing household systems. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination and planning of special events with the head of household and Director of Residences and working closely with them to ensure households run effeciently. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, efficient, and a team-player.

You must have a valid driver's license. The position will most often allow for two consecutive days off per week but will require flexibility for some nights, weekends, and holidays.
