Looking for and associate with a background in logistic operations with a mix of administration, human resources, training development, coaching and mentoring. Operation is a 6 day a week two shift distribution operation for apparel for both E-commerce and store distribution operations. Candidates must be hands on and willing to work in and understand the operation with the ability to develop training SOP to best educate the associates as they are added to the operation. Ability to handle basic HR and administration functions with conflict resolution experience a must.

Essential Duties:

HR Role

Take appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate Company rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances

Perform difficult duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, and administering disciplinary procedures

Assist with the investigation of all complaints and conducts all necessary follow up as appropriate

Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview, and select applicants

Process and maintain digital files for Existing Employees and New Hire HR documents

Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives

Provide support with the Annual Performance Management process

Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefit

Work with the Branch Supervisor to ensure that the employee’s timecards and time off are processed and approved in a timely manner to meet the payroll deadline

Complete all employee changes including but not limited to new hires, transfers, status changes and terminations

Attendance

Scheduling assignments for 30+ direct hires and 150 agency staffing associates.

Make the weekly schedule working with Supervisor to ensure department coverage.

Monitor and assign staff with rotating days off in a six-day two shift operation.

Develop and maintain scheduling to evenly and fairly distribute days off.

Gather attendance reporting by team current staffing performance for both direct and agency associates.

Gather analyze and report daily and then recap in a once weekly meeting providing feedback.

Modify and update as associates are added and removed

Staffing Development

Develop on boarding process to ensure all associates receive the initial guidance / training required.

Develop and maintain weekly training status reporting with following week planning.

Monitor associates for ongoing inhouse training

Develop and maintain a training schedule working with the supervisors and leads

Ensure training compliance is maintained working with regional HR program guidance and the staff

Train in each area of warehouse to have full understanding of the work, develop training programs to on board staffing

Staffing Engagement

Develop and maintain an engaged healthy smiling motivated working environment

Planning associate events that develop team building and engage the team.

Lead in planning all holiday and employee engagement events working with the team leads

Develop activities and staff events that will promote team work in a harmonious environment.

Work Environment Development

Working with and in the different teams daily to best understand what the associate feels.

Engage them daily by working with them understanding the daily activities of each area.

Work with the teams on the team boards to motivate and engage the associates

Coach and council the team leadership on motivational and engagement techniques

Develop programs that promote feedback that can be shared with the management team weekly

Staffing Agency Liaison

Currently a two-staffing agency environment each with an onsite that will report to you.

Develop maintain staffing replacement assignment planning that promotes fair competition

Collect analyze report on agency assignment performance NCNS, sick etc.

Collect and provide feedback on daily attendance of their associate reporting daily

Organize shift staffing reporting updates out, sick, MIA etc. twice daily

ADP Portal Administrator for Direct Hire Associates

Punch in punch out monitoring and updating

Running ADP reports on employee attendance performance reporting weekly at the staff meeting

Monitor time off performance working with the direct hire and supervisor to ensure clarity

This job is alternating Saturdays schedule, in the event that you work a Saturday, you will have another day in the week off Monday-Friday.

Minimum Requirements:

College degree in Human Resources or related field

2-5 years broad Human Resource experience in all functional areas

Strong knowledge of MS Office software products, and the ability to independently use ADP Workforce Now

Must be comfortable and effective in working with local employees as well as Expatriate employees

Organized and professional demeanor

Ability to maintain confidentiality

English and Spanish bilingual is preferred, but not required.
