Sr Injection Molding Project Manager

Job Description

Summary: Senior Project Manager with expertise in injection molding to manage manufacturing and facility projects at plastic component plants.

Responsibilities:

Manage manufacturing and facility projects, including deliverables, RFQ distribution, planning, resource selection, budgeting, and on-time completion.

Lead technicians to improve manufacturability of plastic component processes and equipment.

Support maintenance and processing departments with training and engineering activities.

Analyze performance issues for root cause solutions; maintain documentation including all drawings and database listings.

Communicate with Engineering Managers regarding manufacturing and facility project issues and suggestions.

Drive continuous improvement to reduce setup time, scrap, improve processing, and increase product yield.

Requirements:

BS in Engineering

Minimum 3 years of related experience

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of injection molding machines and process

Experience in project management or project management certification

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor

Strong organizational skills

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel as needed (50%)

Ability to rent vehicles for company-related travel

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
