Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, values and objectives.

Work on talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.

Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.

Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and development and implement initiatives to enhance team and individual performance.

Provide support in designing and administering compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.

Assist in managing organizational change initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings, by providing expertise in change management practices.

Utilize HR data and metrics to assess trends, track progress, and make data-driven recommendations for improving HR processes and practices.

Ensure HR practices and policies comply with South African employment laws and regulations.

Lead or contribute to HR-related projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement surveys, and HR process improvements.

Support employee development through onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and training programs.

Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and ensure that the company's HR policies are being applied consistently and fairly across the organization.

Support the HR Manager in delivering HR projects and initiatives eg:- WSP/ATR, employment equity etc

Partner with the different divisions within HR to enhance and develop projects and initiatives

Role requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

SAP experience advantageous

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR roles, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, SAP and HR software.

Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Formulates concise initiatives from ideas to complete solutions
