Job Title: Extrusion Operator

Location: Willmar, MN

Salary: $20-34/hour *** SIGN ON BONUS

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator for our facility in Willmar, Minnesota, with expertise in human food or pet food manufacturing. We offer a sign-on bonus and lump sum pay for relocation. Day and night shift roles are available, working Monday through Thursday for 10-hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance tasks on the extruder machine, including startup, production runs, shutdown, and cleaning.

2. Coordinate production schedules with the Supervisor to ensure timely completion of orders.

3. Monitor and record key parameters such as salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels of the product.

4. Ensure quality assurance standards are met for the processed product.

5. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Education & Experience:

- Previous experience in extrusion operations is required.

- Experience in a human food or pet food manufacturing environment is essential.

- Proficiency in basic mathematics.

- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.

- Ability to comprehend and follow process instructions from manuals.

- Availability to work 10-hour shifts on either day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), with weekend overtime when necessary.
