This is how you will grow:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting issues with supplier parts through collaborative efforts with business partners within the company and suppliers to ensure the incoming quality and functionality of parts. Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities :

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Analyze the end-to-end supply chain processes and identify potential risks

15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably within the Automotive Industry.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the supply chain.

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring continuity of the supply chain and minimizing disruptions.

Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, working collaboratively to develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing options.

Assess and monitor the financial stability, performance, and compliance of suppliers to minimize supplier-related risks.

Develop and maintain robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic suppliers and establish supplier performance metrics.

Conduct regular supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.

Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, considering risk management principles and cost optimization strategies.

Gather, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.

Generate regular reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain risk management for management review.

Utilize data-driven insights to optimize supply chain processes, improve decision-making, and reduce risk exposure.

Required skills:

Proven experience in supply chain management, risk management, or a related role, preferably within the automotive industry.

Knowledge of Automotive Manufacturing Processes, Including Procurement, Production Lanning, Inventory Management, and Logistics.

Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and procurement principles.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and manage risks effectively.

Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred qualifications:

A master's degree is preferred

Certification in supply chain management or risk management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional or Certified Risk Manager) is a plus.

Knowledge of lean Six Sigma Methodologies

German and/or Spanish language
