SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Assembler!

Job Title: Assembler II

Job Location: Irving, TX, U.S.A. 75038

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $22.65 an hour

Shift Structure: ONSITE, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The role of the Assembler:

Will be an integral part of the packaging team, ensuring the meticulous assembly and packaging of field spares in accordance with approved production work instructions (PWI’s).

Build subassemblies as per PWI’s, utilizing proficiency in computer applications to access databases and complete build/pack records efficiently.

Operate within a dynamic and high-performing environment

Adhere to safety guidelines, processing standards, and regulatory requirements to guarantee the delivery of top-quality products.

About the Assembler:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the medical device industry.

Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in computer use, including accessing databases and completing digital records.

Familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) guidelines is essential

Exhibit the ability to take initiative and work independently, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.

Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in every aspect of the assembly and packaging process.

Work well in a team-oriented environment, being willing to integrate into the existing team and contribute positively to collective goals.

Perform tasks effectively with limited supervision, showcasing a high level of responsibility and autonomy.

Demonstrate reliability and consistency in work, contributing to a trustworthy and dependable work ethic.
