Salary will be between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team in our newest program, The School for Limitless Learning. With its play-based curriculum and inclusive approach to education for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities, this new private school represents a significant milestone in our community. The Early Childhood Educator Assistant is dedicated to providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment

Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities

Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child

Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families

Qualifications:

A minimum of a high school diploma or GED with one of the following:

A Florida Staff Credential (one of the following):

Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC),

Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC),

National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development

Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training

Current CPR and First Aid certification
