Salary: $28-$30/hour

Voted the winner of the QCBJ 2023 Coolest Places to Work in the Quad Cities, Bush Construction is looking to add a self-motivated Warehouse Operations Manager to our team. Working out of our newly remodeled 13,000 square-foot warehouse space in Davenport, the Warehouse Manager will both help to oversee inventory (equipment, tools, construction supplies) operations, as well as ensuring timely material and equipment delivery to and from all local jobsites. To help us deliver on our promise to our customers to be on time and on budget, the Warehouse Manager must be a skilled multitasker, over-zealous in their commitment to organization & inventory controls, and value safety above all.

This role does NOT oversee or directly supervise other employees.

This position requires a valid drivers license and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.

What makes you successful in this position?

You have previous construction experience where you worked on your feet, prioritized safety and are known for getting the job done. You know the technical terms for common construction items and building materials.

You are mechanically inclined. You’re comfortable working on small engines (such as generators) to diagnose, repair, and conduct routine maintenance on them.

Accuracy & organization are your middle names. You’re comfortable doing inventory counts, assigning equipment to its proper place, and take pride in keeping a neat/clean warehouse.

You were born a truck driver in another life. You’re comfortable loading a trailer, driving/parking a truck and flatbed trailer, maintaining a trailer…you get the idea.

You take directions easily, are self-motivated and a good communicator. You’ll be working on your own most days, so you have the see the big picture, ask the appropriate questions, prioritize and execute.

Some technology experience. You’ll write and respond to company emails daily, use Excel weekly, as well as other company-specific apps.

The pay range for this position is $28-$30 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
