Job Description
Established law firm and title company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated applicant to fill the position of Legal Assistant. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for managing closing files, carrying out administrative services, and providing support to the attorneys. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem solving skills, is good with numbers, and is able to multi-task in a high volume and fast-paced environment. Experience in banking, finance, real estate, and/or customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with realtors, loan officers, buyers, and sellers to finalize numbers and documents for real estate closings.
Preparing numbers and documents for real estate closings
Assist attorneys with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Typing real estate title opinions
Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Record and store client information
Other administrative functions
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
Familiarity with real estate
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent typing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
