Patient Access Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Patient Access Supervisor individual with at least 2 years of previous experience in supervising and registration.

Location - hybrid in chicago, one week in office and one week at home

Salary - Starting at $25/hr

Interim/Contract Role with the chance to get directly hired

Day to Day:

This individual will be responsible for being the support to the registration or authorization staff on a day to day basis.

They will be responsible for training new staff members, teaching them epic, the work queues for registration and authorizations, and being the first point of contact to the staff.

They will be responsible for supporting the manager when they are out of the office in addition to the supervisor role.

They will be responsible for assigning work queues in EPIC. For the registration supervisor, it will be the registration work queues, and for the authorizations supervisor, it will be the authorization work queues.

They will be conducting performance management and conflict with the representatives. They should be comfortable with having coaching conversations and will be the first line of contact if someone is underperforming. If they are unsuccessful, it escalates to the manager. They work in metric based environments and will have to be used to their performance being analyzed.

Schedule: M-F 9:00AM-5:00PM

Benefits:

In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
