Job Details:

Position Type: Full-time

Location: New London, CT

Onsite or Virtual:Onsite

Duration: Summer (July-August of 2024)

Job Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care and health services to students within the school setting.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Monitor and assess students' health conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.

Assist with the management of students' chronic health conditions, such as asthma or diabetes.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for students.

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure the health and safety of students.

Requirements:

Must have pleted a state-approved nursing program (Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred)

Valid ConnecticutLPN license

Must hold valid CPR certification

Experience in a school-based clinical setting preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail preferred
