As a Banquet Server/Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met at meetings and events while circulating the room and performing food and beverage services. You will be required to assist with the set and breakdown of banquet events

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.Requirements:

Job Requirements:

Serving guests while carrying plates of food on trays

Keeping glasses full, removing each round of plates, and replenishing utensils

Perform cleaning tasks along with the assembly and breakdown of service

Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service

Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness

Job Qualifications:

Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement

Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

Ability to anticipate the needs of the guests and acknowledge their requests

Ability to work well in stressful situations

Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service

Ability to help validate customers ' IDs and monitor all beverage consumption

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
