POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidate will be able to successfully perform job assignments including initiating and creating designs, production of construction documents, site visits during the construction phase, in addition to the responsibilities identified below and assigned by Tim Cross. We are looking for an A player, someone looking to be part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create designs for aspects of assigned projects

• Zoning research and Analysis

• Familiarity with current codes and applying to designs.

• Survey and creation of existing conditions drawings

• Develop schematic and design development sketches appropriate to programmatic requirements

• Coordinate with Consulting Engineers

• Product research & selection of appropriate products for use on projects

• Lumion or equal renderings, modeling, annotating plans and details

• Production of construction documents under the direction of Project Managers

• Job site visits for verification and evaluation of construction

• Review & process shop drawings and submittals

• Other duties as assigned by Project Managers

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Design / Build Experience Preferred

Licensed Architect in the state of New Jersey preferred.

Bachelors of Architecture degree from a U.S. accredited university, with 3 years minimum of work experience in the field of Architecture

Must be highly proficient in AutoCad Architecture and possess working knowledge of Word & Excel

3D modeling and rendering (Sketch-Up, Lumion, Photoshop) a plus.
