As a DevOps Engineer, you will make critical contributions as part of a multi-disciplinary software development team working on novel methods for solving critical intelligence analysis and threat awareness problems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interfacing with government customers, subject matter experts, software engineers, and end users to gather requirements and to obtain critical feedback on CI/CD processes and infrastructure provisioning, administration, and security.

Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining container-based secure infrastructure.

Building, testing, integrating and deploying code continuously using automation.

Monitoring and troubleshooting performance, security, and operations issues.

Managing and maintaining a Linux-based application infrastructure.

Work collaboratively in an agile development environment with team members to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent field with minimally 5 years of relevant post-degree experience in industry or academia.

3+ years of experience in Linux administration or systems administration, with strong knowledge in at least one preferred scripting language such as Bash, Python, or GoLang.

Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes and/or other containerization platforms (e.g., OpenShift, ECS, PKS, and Docker).

DoD IAT Level II certification or approved Cybersecurity certification

Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab CI.

Experience with provisioning software using tools, such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.

Experience with application performance analysis and monitoring (e.g., ELK stack or Splunk).

Experience with AWS infrastructure automation/Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation with a focus on network and cybersecurity.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

M.S. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Electrical/Computer Engineering.

Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph

Security

Applicant selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must currently meet eligibility requirements for access to Top Secret/SCI information. Eligibility requirements include having held an active TS/SCI clearance within the last 24 months.
