Entry-Level Process Engineer w/Plastic Injection

Job Description

Summary: Seeking an Entry-Level Process Engineer with plastic injection experience to optimize molding operations, reduce manufacturing costs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Observe and analyze injection molding and secondary operations for process improvement opportunities.

Develop goals for cycle time reduction and facilitate activities towards achieving increased capacity and cost savings.

Implement automation in molding, material handling, and secondary processes utilizing innovative tooling, machine designs, and robotics.

Propose standard or method changes through the ECN procedure to reflect current practices or improvements.

Collaborate with plant personnel and suppliers on molding issues, determining root causes, documenting solutions, and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field required.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in an injection molding shop floor setting.

Demonstrated ability to lead others and aid in employee development.

Proven track record of problem-solving within Manufacturing Engineering.

Additional Information:

This is a permanent position at a non-union plant operating 24/7 with approximately 200 employees.

Relocation assistance is available for successful candidates.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens; no other visa types will be considered for this role.

Position does not require ITAR work regulations or a security clearance.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
