Job Overview

As a Facilities Helper at AEVEX Aerospace, you will support the implementation of the 5S program to sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting the safe operations of the facility.

Essential Functions:

Provide day-to-day general facility maintenance

Service, clean and stock restrooms, kitchens or other areas of the building and grounds

Perform regular inspections of facility and equipment to maintain a safe working environment

Identify and repair any potential safety or security hazards

Operate utility vehicles and power tools, as required.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment

Ensure that all work is done efficiently and adheres to aviation safety regulations and industry best practices

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to perform routine repairs and maintenance

Ability to take directions and follow through on assigned tasks to completion

Ability to read and understand written text and instructions

Effective communication a nd organizational skills

Ability to work with a team or independently

Strong attention to detail

Highly responsible and reliable

Strong work ethic and integrity

Valid driver's license

Education / Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

0-2 years facilities or entry level mechanic related experience

Security Clearance
