Active Secret Clearance Required

Salary: $80,000 - 110,000/year

The Mechanical Engineer will possess the proven ability to use 2D & 3D software, have a basic understanding of processing plant design, have excellent time management skills, and an outgoing personality. This position allows the individual to be hands-on with the production team to ensure quality construction. This individual will also have the opportunity to work on R&D projects to develop product improvements and inventive solutions.

Responsibilities:

Create 2D & 3D models of grinders from the concept stage to assist with the sales process.

Communicate internally with MPE's sales team to understand initial customer requirements.

Process customer orders from design stage to manufacturing.

Work hand in hand with MPE's production team to ensure quality product.

Work directly with customers to understand project goals and develop efficient solutions.

Use engineering skillset to develop unique designs in an R&D setting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or similar).

1+ years' experience with equipment design

Experience with 3D modeling (Solidworks preferred)

Experience with 2D modeling (AutoCAD preferred).

Active Secret Clearance Required

Ability to work independently and take the initiative with limited direction.

Ability to quickly grasp and learn technical concepts related to the company's products and applications.

Ability to collaborate effectively daily with sales personnel and customers.
