We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our operations. The ideal candidate for Operations Manager will have a deep understanding of transportation management, inventory control, fleet management, and warehouse operations. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across the logistics function.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and achieve company objectives.

Oversee the transportation of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Manage inventory levels and distribution processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory while maximizing inventory turnover.

Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, carriers, and logistics service providers to ensure reliable and efficient service.

Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing logistics operations, including safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to align logistics activities with overall business objectives.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasting expenses, and allocating resources effectively.

Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements for this role include:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics operations management, including fleet management, warehouse operations, and inventory control.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Solid understanding of logistics software systems and tools, and experience implementing new processes and systems.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve operational performance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
