Description:

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and systems-related issues. They serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and problem resolution, either remotely or on-site. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and effectively.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, peripherals, and other IT equipment.

Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Document and maintain records of technical inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance tasks as needed.

Conduct user training and orientation sessions to promote efficient and effective use of IT resources.

Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a related role.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), and common software applications.

Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

Summary of role requirements:

Working rights required for this role

Expected salary: 20,000 - 25,000 per month
