ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an Instructional Design Specialist to be part of our team.
He/She is responsible for creating, designing, developing, and evaluating ILT and CBT courses and other training programs for the schools of iFive University. Their main task is to utilize Training Needs Analysis, Adult Learning Methodologies, and e-Learning Design Principles based on Andragogy and Heutagogy when designing and evaluating learning interventions, training materials, and other job aids necessary to reach set learning outcomes and course objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Needs Analysis
Respond to training requests, and conducts dialogues to figure out training needs; recommends and creates learning intervention proposals based on findings
Learning Design, Development, and Evaluation for ILTs and CBTs
Create storyboards, mock-ups, and draft materials for learners and facilitators
Create course descriptions, learning objectives, and thumbnails, and upload them on iFive University;
Design and develop curriculum plan and learning activities that support learning objectives;
Participates in reviews and leads program iteration and versioning; builds the course content on iFiveU and creates knowledge checks;
Researches possible content and converts to usable CBT or blended-learning content; produce animated training videos through Vyond, records voice-overs, and act as the technical expert in video and audio productions
Learner and Facilitator Training Material Creation
Utilizes authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Rise, design tools such as Canva, MS Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint, production and editing tools such as Photoshop, Premier, Audition, and Audacity, and streaming platforms such as Zoom and OBS – to create training materials, e-learning programs, and ILT materials
LMS Administration
Create courses, resources, and learning paths; manage document versions; enroll learners, onboard and offboard employees; generate completion reports and create trackers;
Provide support for course errors; build and maintain gamification process;
Design learning badges and award credits based on the gamification process;
Coordinate with LMS provider support for troubleshooting bugs on the platform
Helpdesk Solution Management
Respond to requests, notifications, and basic LMS troubleshooting for course exam resets, password resets, enrollment requests, and other L&D course content design and app functionality concerns
Other administrative tasks
Attend meetings with stakeholders; support other L&D initiatives and non-training interventionsRequirements
At least 2 years of experience required with solid instructional design background
Can build instructor-led and computer-based training programs efficiently and effectively
Solid experience in curriculum design, course content development and evaluation using ID principles such as ADDIE, TNA, Kirkpatrick Levels of Evaluation, Bloom's Taxonomy, etc
Knowledgeable in:
Adult learning methodologies
Andragogical and heutagogical approaches to learning
Competency-based talent management
Strong stakeholder management skills
Certificate or relevant training in learning design and evaluation is an advantage
Experience in building learning communities and mentorship programs is a plus
Willing to work on a shifting schedule and on a Hybrid setup
Shifting schedule; Default at 6AM-3PM
