ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Paralegal Assistant to be part of our team.

He/She is responsible for assisting the lawyers with processing new pleadings, reviewing hearings and responding to Mycase portal messages.

He/She is responsible for all deadlines and hearings being properly calendared.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer all incoming calls for the assigned attorney and relay important information

Schedule meetings between Clients and Attorney

Manage assigned attorneys calendar and calendar all hearing, due dates and deadlines.

Process all incoming pleadings from the court and save to the client file and send to the client or opposing party if needed.

Draft basic pleadings using firm templates at the direction of attorney

File motions with the court using e-file and serve

Coordinate with Opposing Party for things like discover and settlement facilitation.

Honestly and accurately track your billing and maintain firm billing goals and objectives.

Pay close attention to detail and thoroughly review all incoming pleadings and correspondence.

Timely complete assigned tasks

Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information.

Write/draft all documents in a professional manner.

Understand the secondary and tertiary steps that need to take place when we file something or the opposing party does.

Efficiently work clients casefile. Requirements

At least 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal or similar

Knowledge of Mycase portal is a plus.

Willing to work on a night shift schedule and work onsite in Tower 1, Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas, Pasig (Beside The Medical City Ortigas)
