Currently, ManTech is seeking a **Senior Test Engineer** to join our team in **Herndon, VA** .

As a **Senior Test Engineer** , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and

reliability of our software products through the design, implementation, and

maintenance of manual and/or automated testing solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, develop test strategies, and implement robust test plans and test cases.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

+ Work with CNO Development Teams to better understand requirements, improve test effectiveness, and resolve defects.

+ Perform various types (UI, API, integration, regression) of manual software testing.

+ Execute test scripts and fully document all defects during the test execution.

+ Actively participate in developing and improving existing testing scenarios and test cases.

+ Ability to analyze specifications and design documentations, test strategies, test plans, and user acceptance criteria.

+ Able to create and organize, test plans, test sets, and test executions.

+ Able to create, update, and maintain system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, API testing, and data-driven testing scenarios.

+ Able to adapt to Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies with a cross-functional team approach.

+ Participate in sprint planning and other Agile/Scrum activities to ensure high-quality software.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (OR 10 years testing experience in lieu of degree).

+ Experience using a version control tool such as SVN or GitLab.

+ Experience conducting API testing using REST Assured, Postman or some other tool.

+ Knowledge and experience in Continuous Development / Continuous Integration.

+ Knowledge of test processes and test case development.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Experience in SAFe Agile development methodology.

+ Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Experience with an automated test tool such as Selenium or Katalon.

+ Experience writing automated test scripts in Java, Python or some other programming language.

+ Experience creating and maintaining an automation test framework using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cucumber or some other tool.

+ Experience identifying opportunities to automate manual testing processes and drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency.

+ Experience conducting performance testing using tools such as JMeter or SOAPUI.

+ Experience using Jenkins or some other CI/CD tool.

**Security Clearance Requirement:**

+ An active TS/SCI clearance
