Payment Processor

This position requires the timely and accurate handling of exception-based payments, Lockbox rejects, payment reversals and research with appropriate corrective actions delivered. Functions performed require root-cause analysis with remediation execution.

Ensure all Cash Service functions are performed in compliance with company, investor and/or regulatory guidelines.

Provide workflow assistance to Specialist I and management, as applicable.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of funds received for loan servicing, including but not limited to, mortgagor payments, suspense, liquidations, and bankruptcy foreclosure and loss mitigation funds.

Perform MSP IDisburse check processing functions.

Ensure the timely reconciliation of batch balancing and payment clearing reconciliation items.

Assist with drafting Cash Service’s procedures.

Execute the handling of Task Tracking and complaint research requests.

Perform scanning functions for deposit and scanning of checks and documents to remote team members.

Assist with intra department quality control verification on specific Cash Services functions.

Research and resolve payment posting discrepancies timely and accurately.

Perform application reversals, as applicable.

Monitor system edit reports.

Partner with internal and external business partners as applicable to perform Cash Services functions.

Execute on other duties, as assigned.
