Busy St Augustine restaurant River and Fort is hiring Culinary team members. This is a unique opportunity to be at the ground level of an award-winning restaurant group's newest restaurant. Great opportunity to bring service and culinary excellence to St Augustine in a beautifully built, high-volume establishment with a culinary-centric menu.

Some Key Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

Line Cook, Prep Cook, plates dishes and completes basic food prepping tasks for a restaurant. Preparing and cooking food in a specific station, cleaning up prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked.

Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers

Plating prepared foods based on chefs guidance

Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauting, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs

Great pay ($16hr to $23hr), Flexible schedule, AM/PM shifts, Overtime.

Qualifications/Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Organizational skills

Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

Ability to work as a team member

Follows directions and instructions
