Responsibilities: As the Precast Prototype Manager, you will be responsible for:
Prototype Development:
● Build functional prototypes based on engineering drawings and specifications.
● Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate interpretation of design intent. Labor Network Management:
● Establish and maintain a network of local labor contractors.
● Source skilled labor teams for prototype execution.
● Negotiate contracts and manage labor resources effectively
Project Planning and Scheduling:
● Develop detailed project plans for prototype construction.
● Create work schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
● Ensure timely completion of prototypes within budget.
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
● Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for each prototype.
● Track expenses and maintain accurate records.
● Prepare spending reports and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Quality Assurance:
● Implement quality control processes throughout the prototype development lifecycle.
● Conduct inspections and address any deviations from standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
● Maintain comprehensive documentation related to each prototype.
● Prepare progress reports, including cost breakdowns and timelines.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
● Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in precast concrete or similar construction projects.
● Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
● Knowledge of local labour markets and contractor networks.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
● Proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools
